With Paint My Bride, you’ll get a professionally painted bridal portrait based on your favourite photo – or photos – of you and your other half.
The combination of those three passions sparked a brainwave late one Friday night: what if I were to take newlyweds’ best day and turn it into a painting? And what if I could somehow tie in my favourite Californian reality TV show? Paint My Bride was born.
Every wedding I go to seems to be over before it’s begun – I’ll make sure those awesome memories last a lifetime. I’ll capture the fun of the day, and the fun I’ll have painting it.
No matter when you tied the knot, you deserve a professional bridal portrait. I can’t wait to make something you love.

The combination of those three passions sparked a brainwave late one Friday night: what if I were to take newlyweds’ best day and turn it into a painting? And what if I could somehow tie in my favourite Californian reality TV show? Paint My Bride was born.
The thing is, every wedding I go to seems to be over before it’s begun. With Paint My Bride, I can make sure those memories last a lifetime. I’ll capture the fun of the day, and the fun I’ll have painting it.
No matter when you tied the knot, you deserve a professional bridal portrait. I can’t wait to make something you love.
You know, it’s actually pretty straightforward:
Please don’t be put off by the clever (I think) name. Bridled or brideless, you’re covered!
This is not an exclusive club, and I’ll paint happy couples of every kind.
Honestly, I’ll do anything*
I’ve picked out three standard sizes to keep it simple, but I can work with any sized canvas that’s available for me to buy. Enter your specific size when you order, and I’ll provide a custom quote.
*I feel like I need an asterisk here. Almost anything.
For your sake and mine, I never rush an artwork.
There are so many variables in a painting, but I will always aim to complete your wedding portrait within two months of the start date. The start date depends on who’s been booked before you – so book now to be next in line.
All paintings are done in synthetic polymer – that’s fancy artist speak for acrylics. They’re then finished with a layer of satin varnish to protect the work and provide a nice, even sheen. You’ll be left with an artwork that looks good in all light, and should be long-lasting with minimal upkeep.
Not at this stage – to make sure Paint My Bride is an affordable option, I complete all bridal portraits in the studio after the event.

Yes, yes and yes – the more the merrier.
Just remember though, my standardised pricing is based on portraits of the couple only, based on one primary reference photo. More subjects mean more time for me to paint, which means I’ll have to provide a custom quote. You can provide all relevant details and request a quote through the order form.
Yes, and by sharing your bridal portrait on the @paintmybride Instagram, I can hopefully convince someone else to order one! I call this the circle of life.
By ordering a Paint My Bride wedding portrait, you give me permission to share it online – this is necessary for me to promote the business. If there’s a specific reason you don’t want it to be shared, or timings I need to be mindful of, please let me know after you’ve ordered.
Just by visiting my website, I already consider you a close friend. So those ARE the mates rates!
Given the time it takes me to complete a portrait, the prices I’ve set are as low as I can go. But there is one exception: if I attend your wedding, with full access to the open bar, I will absolutely do your bridal portrait free of charge. That works out to be more expensive, you’ve been warned.
